Dear Parents/guardians,
The school will remain open for as long as possible in the present weather conditions. We will continue to monitor the weather situation. Should the Chairman of the Board Management decide, that for health and safety reasons, the school has to close we will inform you by text message, on the website and through the national media. Thank you for you patience and the excellent attendance of your children today. Continue to impress on the children the importance of taking care on the way to and from school and alert them of the dangers of throwing snowballs which might contain stones or debris.

hehe låter så löjligt för oss men faktum är att de flesta länder inte har någon plan för att hantera snö alls - ifråga om sandning av vägar, dubbdäck, uppvärmning av offentliga byggnader osv. och då kan det faktiskt vara en säkerhetsfara att hålla skolor öppna...
